It is more practical to remove the drum to change the bearings. If you see a lot of screws around the tank cover, you can remove them. The tank cover and the drum will then come off. Next, remove the belt, nut, and pulley. Disconnect the heating element, but be very careful if your washing machine has a thermostat with a capillary (similar to a thick cable), do not cut it. Then remove the screws mentioned above and remove the tank cover with the drum so that they can be separated, as they may be too close to each other. Change both bearings, one on the pulley side and the other on the opposite side of the pulley. These bearings are located both in the tank cover and in the retaining device.
