The bread machine's control screen works, but the keypad does not work when you try to program your machine. You can only access one kneading mode. When the bread machine does not turn on or knead bread, you will need to check several items: the electrical outlet, the power cord, the bowl and the condition of the blades, the motor, the belt and the electronic board. As with any appliance, a reset may sometimes be necessary to get everything back in order. The question is how to perform the reset on the bread maker. It can be done by simply pressing a button or by pressing several buttons at the same time. Consult the manual for more information. When the bread machine is kneading bread, the arm has difficulty turning and the preparation is not done correctly. The problem may be in the motor or, more likely, in the belt that is no longer able to drive the elements of your machine. Disassemble the bread maker by removing the screws and the various components. Take care to remove the belt without jerking it so as not to tear the electrical wires connected to the electronic board. Put the new belt in place by connecting it to the motor and then to the pulley. Turn the pulley by hand so that the belt fits and tightens. Reassemble the various components of the unit.
