The washing cycle of the washing machine starts correctly, the water reaches the tub and then the machine stops. It is likely that the belt has failed and is no longer able to drive the drum. Remove the belt and test it. If it turns, the problem may be in the mechanism, otherwise it may be due to a problem with the motor. A new belt has been installed but the drum still does not turn during the wash program. When starting the washing machine, it starts, but it seems to you that the motor pulls a steel cable. The brake and pulley lock remain activated. If you remove them manually, the drum turns only in one direction, not in both, while the motor turns in both directions. When attempting to disassemble the mechanism by removing the bottom drum cover, if you find that a nut holding the shaft is seized and split in one part, it will need to be removed with pliers. Also check the condenser. If the belt tension is correct, the malfunction may be in the condenser. When the washer starts the wash cycle, the brake foot rests on the lower plastic gear of the mechanism, releasing the clutch spring. The internal shaft rotates. The synchronizing motor contracts, driving the rope, removing the brake and tightening the shaft. The reservoir moves.
