How to read belt numbers

Tip of the day

When you program a wash cycle, the dryer spins but a loud noise is heard. The spinning is not working properly and the clothes are soaked. It is the drum of the washing machine banging on the wall. The belt has been changed but the malfunction remains. Check that the belt has not come off its axis and that it is not loose or too tight. In the spinning phase, the wheel, horizontal disc or agitator located at the bottom of the spinning drum and the spinning drum must turn clockwise at the same time. If the guide arm of the drain motor is not properly graduated, the drum may turn slowly because the brake band is not completely removed from the gearbox housing. The separation between the two parts should not exceed one and a half millimeters, and the two teeth of the clutch arm should not rub against the peripheries of the teeth of the two white plastic gears at any time. The drain motor is fully extended and the two teeth of the clutch arm are inserted between the two teeth of their respective gears. The clutch arm adjusting screw stays away from the smooth surface of the brake arm by about 2 to 3 millimeters. When the washing or flushing stage begins, the motor discharge guide arm retracts by about 50%. At this point, the lower end of the brake arm adjustment screw touches the surface of the brake arm just to free the brake belt from the transmission housing by a few microns, to allow the rotating drum to make short movements of no more than about 15 centimeters. The clutch arm teeth remain in their respective locations to prevent the two gears from moving. When the spin stage takes its turn, the guide arm of the drain motor retracts to almost 100%. At this point, the clutch arm adjustment screw presses against the smooth surface of the brake belt to move the two clutch arm teeth away from their respective gears.
