The laundry is not dried at the end of the cycle programmed on the INDESIT dryer. The drum does not seem to be turning properly. The belt may be worn or simply loose.
First, remove the screws on the back of the unit. Also remove the top cover, which consists of four bolts covered with a plastic circle. This can be removed using a screwdriver. Pull out the back of the box. To put on the strap, unscrew the two bolts on one side and pass the strap then screw the bolts back in. You will then need to remove the other bolts on the other side and disconnect the links to get the entire belt onto the drum. When the belt is in place, replace the screws. The four screws secure the box that runs through the dryer. It is not necessary to unscrew the center bolt that holds the drum.
The belt with its lines must be face down on the drum. In order to place the belt on the motor shaft, it is possible to use a PVC tube or a hollow object to help place the belt. Put the belt around this object, adjust it to the motor shaft and push the belt until it falls on the shaft. Then, remove the tube or object used to assist in the placement of the belt. Once the belt has fallen onto the shaft, proceed to close the dryer. Be careful with the edges of the boxes. Note that the pulley goes through the middle of the belt. The belt of the dryer INDESIT remains in the form of a Y. Be sure to leave the bottom part of the Y on the motor shaft.
