The washing machine belt comes off just by turning the drum by hand. Turning to one side or the other will cause the belt to come off the rotation axis. It is possible that the belt is off center due to a bearing problem. This is a new belt that was recently installed. Start by checking that the motor pulley is not pulling the belt back, i.e. the belt is not positioned too far back on the motor pulley. You will notice that it has enough clearance to align the belt with the pulley drum. If it does come out, check that the drum pulley has not come loose and then check the bearings for play on both the left and right sides by taking the drum with the doors open and forcing it up and down. It should remain stable on both sides. If either side has play, the bearings should be changed. Try positioning the belt in different positions, both centered, and further back or forward. Check the screws and nuts on the pulley to see if they fit properly. Check the condition of the bearings. You may have difficulty accessing some bearings. It will be necessary to remove the screws from the various cover plates. When the drum is turned manually, it will scratch and slow down a bit in one area, making it difficult to turn. By keeping the drum towards the opposite side, it does not scratch. The bearing must be changed.
