The kneading process of the bread machine is working properly, only the mixing paddle does not turn. The belt is probably out of alignment or broken. If the bread machine is used infrequently, the belt may come out of the pulley because the pot axle locks in place. You need to remove the screws from the base as well as the other screws that are visible when you open the lid of the machine to access the pot. Then you will access the elastic latches, like those now used in all machines, which you can release by pressing on the perimeter of the joint between the base and the body of the machine.
Do not pull too hard when removing the tank as the resistors are bound to the board and could pull out a wire. Once you have access to the belt, remove it and note the part number on the rubber part. To install the new belt, take a screwdriver. Unscrew the center screw holding the pulley and remove it. Be sure to save the washer, which will need to be replaced. Place the belt around the pulley and motor. Be sure to place the belt in the correct direction with the notched side in. Replace the pulley in the bread machine and screw the nut back on, not forgetting to put the washer back on.
