The dryer has stopped working. The drum does not spin during the spin cycle. If you cannot remove the rear cover, open the top cover and check the condition of the belt. If the belt is badly worn, it should be replaced. To do this, make sure the unit is turned off and disconnected from the power and water supply. To install the belt, tilt the dryer forward to give you more room to maneuver, then place the belt on the motor pulley and have someone help you hold it so it doesn't slip off while you assemble it on the drum pulley. Once the belt is in place, it's a good idea to check that it's in the right position, because if it's not, it could come off its spindle on the first machine. To do this, rotate the large pulley and look to see if the belt is sticking out from the edge of the two pulleys. If it does, while rotating the drum pulley with one hand, apply pressure to the edge of the belt with the other hand to re-center it. Then manually drive the large pulley through several turns. If the belt stays in place, it is properly positioned.
