The belt of your washing machine ZANUSSI has become loose and is slipping during the wash cycle. The drum is no longer driven and is banging against the tub wall of the machine. If the steel drum is banging, it means that the washing machine has bearing problems and when it turns, it hits the tub. After removing the belt, check from the loading dowel to see if the drum has slack when you manually turn it sideways and upward. If there is any play, the bearings must be replaced.
If the drum appears to be properly centered, the problem is not with the bearings. To install the new belt on your washing machine ZANUSSI, you need to loosen the screw on the motor that regulates its position. The screw is located on the slider. After loosening the screw, you need to lift the motor and install the new belt. After placing it, push the motor down until the belt is tight again, then adjust the motor screw there. Alternatively, you can place the belt on the motor pulley, then position it on the drum pulley. Then turn the pulley by hand, making sure the belt does not come off the guide, until it is correctly positioned.
