How to read belt numbers

Morphy Richards

Tip of the day

When using the bread maker, the machine makes an abnormal noise. The paddle turns but the motor makes noise. The problem is most likely due to the condition of the belt on your MORPHY-RICHARDS bread maker. Remove the screws from the base and the screws from the inside of the oven. Underneath the metal base of the motor there is a rubber toothed belt that turns. Regular use of a MORPHY-RICHARDS breadmaker wears out the belt and over time this rubber part can dry out and break.
Gently remove the belt from the breadmaker so as not to tear the wires connecting the resistors to the board. Position the new belt around the motor and then around the pulley. Once the belt partially surrounds the pulley, turn it by hand to make it fit completely into the slot. No tools are required to do this. Replace the compartment and cards in the bottom of the bread maker and screw back in the screws located inside and underneath the unit. Store and group the wires and circuit boards on the sides away from the center compartment to prevent the wires from heating or melting due to heat. Reconnect the cable between the circuit board and the cover control panel. Replace the top panel and screw down the bottom of the compartment.
