How to read belt numbers

LG

Tip of the day

Your LG washing machine is working, but during the wash cycle, the belt slips and does not stay in place. The bolt holding the motor pulley is also loose. It is possible that your washer has bearing problems and this is causing the pulley to spin off center and the Poly V belt is not staying in place. Remove the belt and manually turn the pulley. If the rotation is noisy and the pulley is spinning off center, the bearings need to be changed.
If you notice water flowing down the shaft of the pulley, it is undeniable that the malfunction is in the bearings. Observe if there is no water loss from the pulley shaft downwards when you test the rotation of the pole. The pulley has a split burr on its entire diameter on which the belt rests. The belt simply occupies the outer portion of the pulley by engaging with the split guide that is right in the middle. If there are no bearing problems, it is possible that the belt is tight, but if the washing machine is very old, the belt is worn and can slip off its axis.
Concerning the motor pulley, the belt of a LG washing machine must be aligned with the pulley. If the alignment is not correct, you will have to turn the motor so that these two elements are in position.
