The drum of the dryer SAMSUNG has stopped rotating. It is possible to turn it manually. The malfunction is probably due to the belt not being able to drive it during the drying cycles. The dryer goes into safety mode during the program. Remove the belt from the motor and turn the drum manually. The motor capacitor may be damaged.
The belt may be worn and slipping on the motor pulley or belt tensioner. Friction and tension are two factors that will cause the belt to deteriorate. Remove the drum and check the adjuster and adjuster motor.
Secure the front door of your dryer with tape and then remove the top panel of the machine by removing the screws at the back of the unit. Remove the hoses connected to the water catch basin. The drip tray is usually located on the top of the back of the dryer. Disconnect the electronic board. Check the new dryer belt part number SAMSUNG to make sure it is compatible with your unit. Pass the new belt under the impeller to reach the motor shaft. The grooves of the belt should be placed on the side of the drum. Then position the belt around the drum from the back side.
