Due to malfunctions encountered while using the washing machine, you removed the belt from the pulleys to check that the machine was still able to turn. When the belt is put back on the two pulleys, the machine does not work. Check if it has a capacitor: it is a round tube with cables connected near the motor. The malfunction could be due to a problem with the motor or the motor capacitor. Replace the motor capacitor. If the washing machine drum still does not work, check the condition of the belt. If the drum spins when you manually start it, the problem is likely to be in the motor or a short in a coil in the machine. Check that nothing is obstructing the movement of the drum. To do this, turn the drum by hand. If it does not turn, remove the drive belt and start the motor with the belt placed on the pulleys. Measure the force of the motor. If you can stop the motor by pressing on the belt, the bearings are damaged and should be replaced. If the motor runs well with the external load, the problem may be in the transmission.
