The dryer MIELE does not work anymore. Remove the top part of the unit by pivoting it backwards. Keep it that way and remove the front part to expose the drum, taking note of the position of the cables that go to the bunker door and the lower rear part where the hot air outlet duct is located. This will give you access to the dryer belt. Check the positioning of the belt with the tensioner at the motor. The drum is mounted on the front on the skids. Remove the belt. It may be necessary to remove the plastic disc in front of the impeller so that it does not interfere with belt removal. Obtain a new belt, making sure that the part is compatible with the type of appliance.
Note that some dryers are equipped with a tension pulley. If this is the case, check the condition of the tension pulley and make sure it is not loose or damaged. Take a pair of pliers, a Torx head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver and an insulated screwdriver with you so you can install the belt. Pass the new belt underneath the turbine to reach the motor shaft. Make sure that the belt grooves are on the drum side. Place the belt of the dryer MIELE around the drum through the free back side.
