The drive belt of your Hotpoint tumble dryer is worn out and must be replaced by the 2010H7 belt in the following cases:

To begin, you will need to remove the back cover as well as the top cover of your dryer. Then, you will need to remove the belt and the pulley from the drum, which is the main part. Look carefully around the tank and you will find a metal ring resembling a clamp with a large screw. You will need to remove it in order to take off the tank cover. If necessary, you will need to separate the drum cover. At that point, you will be able to see the bearings located in the cover, one on each side. It is imperative to change the bearing seal, otherwise they may break again in the coming days. In some cases, you will also need to disconnect the cables from the resistance and temperature sensors.
