The drive belt of your tumble dryer (Hotpoint, Indesit, Whirlpool) is worn out and must be replaced by the 7PH 2010 / 2010H7 belt in the following cases:
Disconnect the power supply to yoru XXX_BRAND_XXX dryer, model LSF 1711. Remove the back cover and the top cover. Disconnect the drain hose connected to the pump. Remove the belt that connects the motor and the drum pulley. Disconnect all electrical cables from the motor. Remove the water level sensors and thermostat from the back cover of the drum (be very careful with the thermostat, do not bend the copper tube). Since this is a dryer, you need to dismantle a plastic duct that injects hot air into the drum and is located at the top of the drum cover. Remove the flywheel located at the back of the drum (tip: place your right foot inside the drum to leverage and loosen the nut). Remove the flywheel carefully as it is made of a very fragile material. Loosen the screw that holds the metal ring around the back drum cover (note how the ring is positioned). Remove the metal ring, taking care not to break a rubber ring underneath. Sit down and with both hands, pull th ecover towards you, the cover will give way and will have the weight of the cover and the stainless steel inner drum. In addition, the cover is larger than the recess of the dryer's back cover, so you will need to maneuver a bit to be able to remove the cover. When removing the cover with the inner drum, place the inner drum on the floor and, holding it with your feet, pull the cover towards you with your hands, it will take some time to give way, the small roller will come out as soon as the cover and the drum are separated. Once the inner drum is separated, take the opportunity to clean it. Clean the cover very well, remove as much rust as possible where you see that the roller is the largest. Before removing the roller, remove a rubber seal, clean it, and oil the track to remove the roller. If you need to remove the bearing housing with hammer blows, be careful not to bend the cover, as if it is bent, it will no longer fit the outer drum. After removing the bearing housing, clean the track where the bearing housing was located. Buy two high-quality bearings and the seal (we recommend SKF). Then, place the large bearing housing first, then put the rubber seal. Fill the inner hole where the bearing housing is located with fibrous grease so that water does not come out. Also, grease the entire shaft of the inner drum. Attach the cover with the inner drum and reinstall the small bearing housing and the flywheel. Reinstall the cover + inner drum assembly.
