The drive belt of your washing machine () is worn out and must be replaced by the EPJ 1270 / 1270J5EL belt in the following cases:
You will thus be able to get an idea of how to dismantle your washing machine. Unfortunately, we have not found any examples of top-loading and horizontally-axis washing machines, but we will continue to search for them. To change the bearings of this machine, you must first remove the cover on the right side. Then, remove the pulley with the nut and the belt. Also, remove a long screw located on the top of the drum cover, which holds a collar closing the cover to the drum. After removing the cover, disconnect the resistor. Inside the cover, you will find the wheel and the drum axis with the seal. Replace the rotor and the retaining device. Then, through the access hole where the clothes enter, insert your hand and on the left side, there is a plastic cover that can be removed by levering with a screwdriver. Inside, you will find an Allen head screw. Remove it and then pull the drum shaft from the disassembled side. In the tank, you will find the bearing support that can be removed by removing 5 screws. Replace the complete bearing support and the retaining device, then assemble in reverse order.
