At the bottom of the central shaft is a plastic gear of about 7 cm in diameter, with a spring placed on a socket containing the central shaft. This gear allows for the connection of the counter-rotating centrifuge. Just below is the brake for the centrifuge, identical to that of a traditional dryer, with a metal strip located above a circular metal bell.
