Once yuo have removed the back cover of the machine, loosen the pulley, remove the belt, disconnect the resistance wires (remember how they were attached). Then, you will see about 20 screws around the drum cover, remove them. Next, you will see several bolts, about 20 of them around the hubcap, remove them. Then remove the nut that adjusts the pulley and the pulley itself. Using a block of wood and a hammer, tap on the shaft towards the inside (sometimes the hubcap and the steel drum are stuck together). If this happens, you will need to pull the hubcap and the drum out of the machine to separate them. Once they have been removed, both bearings are located on the drum cover, one on the pulley side and the other on the drum side, along with a rubber retaining device. Take them to the spare parts store and have them sold. Both bearings and the retaining device will most likely be damaged on the drum side, which will be difficult to remove. The bearing will be difficult to extract, but it will have to be done, and you will need to use a hammer and a punch to remove it, then install the new bearings, add lithium grease, and reassemble in reverse order.
