You will then notice a metal ring resembling a collar around the tank, secured by a large screw. Unscrew this screw to remove the tank cover. Sometimes, it will come out with the drum included. If necessary, separate the drum cover to access the bearings located on it. You will find one bearing on each side. It is important to change the seal, otherwise the bearings may break again in a few days. You may also need to disconnect the resistance cables and temperature sensors. Make sure to mark them before removing them.
