To change the belt of yoru washing machine, here are the steps to follow. First, you will need to disconnect the water inlet hoses. Then, locat ethe back cover of the washing machine which is secured with 4 1/4 hexagonal screws. Unscrew these screws and position the washing machine with the back side up. Prepare a bowl or container as damaged washers may cause water leaks from the tub to the transmission. When you flip the machine, you will notice that the water flowing out is brown or dark. To access the belt, you will need to remove three 9/16 screws and two screws that hold the water pump, the latter being 1/2 inch. Unscrew the two middle screws of the three 9/16 screws and only loosen the two screws above where the pump is located. Another screw, located in the transmission, is connected to the frame tubes.
