The washing machine drum does not turn. Check the belt tension. It should not be too loose or too tight. Adjust the belt with the slider on the motor. Also check the motor pulleys. If the washing machine is equipped with a Poly V belt, with wide tracks, it is imperative to take the same model so that it is compatible with the machine. Before fitting the new belt, check the condition of the bearings. Also check that the pulleys are not bent. Remove both pulleys and place them on the floor to see if they are bent. If they are, they must be replaced before the new belt is installed. If not, the belt will not be able to stay on the rotation axis during the wash cycles and will slip off the shaft. The drum will not be able to be driven. After making all the necessary checks on the condition of the various components, unplug the washing machine and place the belt in the grooves of the motor shaft, in phase with the grooves of the belt. Then place the belt on the first pulley and then, pulling it, on the second pulley. Make several turns on the pulley and rotate it until the belt is tight. Check that the motor pulley and the washing machine drum are running smoothly.
