The drive belt of your tumble dryer (Hotpoint, Beko, Indesit, Bosch, Blomberg, Whirlpool) is worn out and must be replaced by the 7PH 1965 / 1965H7 belt in the following cases:
To begin, remove a long screw located on top of the drum cover. This screw holds a clamp that secures the cover onto the drum. Then, carefully remove the cover, being mindful of a rubber piece located between the cover and the tank. This rubber piece serves as a seal. To put the cover back in place, use Fastix or a similar sealant during assembly. Before removing the cover, disconnect the heating element and the fixed thermostat. Make sure to properly label the wires to avoid mistakes when reconnecting. In some models, there may also be a mechanical temperature sensor. Do not cut the cable o fthis sensor, simply remove it from the washer it is placed in and secure it with contact cement. Inside the cover, you will find a wheel and a holder for the drum shaft. These parts should be replaced if damaged.
