First, turn off the water and unplug the washing machine. Access the drive by opening the side panel and removing the screws. If the belt is correctly placed on the axis, it is necessary to blow it off with a flat screwdriver, without damaging it. If the washing machine has a top loading, open the drum door to maneuver. The pulley usually has a drum positioning magnet. The pulley is secured in the center by a Phillips head screw, the size of which may vary from one model to another. A suitable screwdriver bit can be removed on a ratchet wrench to facilitate disassembly and reassembly. Be careful not to damage the impression with an unsuitable screwdriver. To reassemble the belt, place it on the small drive pulley and then on the large one. Make sure that the belt is well engaged on the axis of the two pulleys.
