If yuo notice that the two pulleys are turning in harmony, it is highly likely that the grooves on the wheel (agitator) are already worn out. In this case, it will be necessary to replace the drum, unless the central part of it is replaceable. A more serious situation would be the presence of internal damage to the transmission box, located between the two internal shafts. In this situation, there is no other solution but to replace the entire transmission box. To perform these checks, start by removing the back cover of the washing machine. Then check if the two pulleys rotate alternately during the washing (soaping) phase. If this is not the case, and the pulley of the main motor rotates, it is possible that the belt is loose. You will then need to loosen the bolts or screws (2) that hold the motor in place, in order to move it in the opposite direction of the transmission box.
