Your washing machine CANDY makes an abnormal noise during the wash cycle. It is no longer able to spin the clothes. The belt can no longer drive the drum. First of all, check that the load of laundry in the washing machine is not too heavy. Then check if the belt is broken or just loose. In this case it slips during the wash and does not drive the drum at the end of the cycle when spinning.
Washing machines have essentially two components: the box and the motor. Perform a first test by manually turning the drum. If the drum is not held back by any resistance, the malfunction is due to the belt. This part is usually made of rubber and connects the two pulleys. Simply unplug the washing machine CANDY, remove the protective grille if it has one to access the belt that connects the motor pulleys and the box.
If you notice that the pulley is at the bottom of the machine, it means that the part has come off the pulleys. If the belt is loose, it is due to a misalignment of the motor. It is simply out of alignment. Frictional noises are due to the belt overhanging the drum pulley. Remove the belt and check its condition. Check that the drum pulley is in place and position the washer belt CANDY around the small motor pulley and then gradually adjust the belt to the drum pulley by turning it gently.
If you start the Candy washing machine, the motor makes noise. You may also smell something burning, and your Candy washer does not work properly It's time to change the belt, and it's cheap. It takes 15 minutes to replace a belt, and we ship all belts (poly-Vee, drive belt) within 24 hours.
