Since the main motor pulley rotates in both directions during the wash phase, there is no doubt that the fault lies in the speed reducer. Without the belt between the two pulleys, you can try to manually turn the speed reducer pulley in one direction for about 5 turns, then in the other direction for 5 turns again. If you cannot turn the pulley, the speed reducer is stuck and it seems that you will need to replace it. Have you noticed any rust on the underside of the speed reducer?
