Top Questions

How to repair your appliance? Experts will help you...

The first step is to remove the top panel of your dryer. You should be able to do this by unscrewing a few screws. Once the panel is removed, you will see the pressure switch located near the drum. To test the pressure switch, you must first disconnect the power supply to your dryer. Then, you need to disconnect the wires from the pressure switch. Make sure to take note o fthe location of each wire so that you can reconnect them correctly later on. Once the wires are disconnected, you can use a multimeter to test the continuity of the pressure switch. Set the multimeter to the resistance mode and place the test probes on the terminals of the pressure switch. If the multimeter displays infinite resistance, it means that the pressure switch is defective and needs to be replaced. If the multimeter displays zero resistance or close to zero, it means that the pressure switch is in good working condition. If the pressure switch is defective, you can replace it by ordering a new part from the manufacturer or a spare parts dealer. Make sure to get the correct reference for your dryer model. In this case, it would be preferable to call a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the problem. In summary, if your dryer is not functioning properly, you can test the pressure switch to see if it is defective. If it is, you will need to replace it. If the pressure switch is in good working condition, it is recommended to call a professional to diagnose and repair the problem.
