If your top-loading dryer is not agitating the laundry properly, check the turbine, also known as the agitator, as its grooves may be worn out and it may not have enough power to agitate the clothes. To determine the model of this dryer, check if it is a top-loading model. Front-loading dryers and drum dryers have a sensor for the motor, but not in top-loading ones. Unless it is a direct drive motor model, which does not have a belt between the two pulleys and does not use a capacitor.
