The clutch is the white piece located above the pulley. It is activated when the thermo-actuator (drain motor) pulls on the clutch lever (yuo will see the small lever on the plate). This lowers the clutch onto the toothed pulley, and that's how the drum rotates. If the clutch pulley or the clutch teeth are worn, it can cause noise and prevent the drum from rotating properly. This could be due to a faulty clutch spring, lack of grease, or improper installation of the pulley. As advised, approach the dryer, remove the belt, put it in spin mode, and pull. However, if the noise persists and the speed increases, it could be coming from the drain motor, similar to a machine gun.
