Sometimes it is difficult to find the reasons for the malfunction of a washing machine. It is possible that if the motor does not start, the transmission or the drum bearings are blocked. If there is a problem with the motor, the belt should be removed. There are certain signs that can identify the problem. The most common causes are a door that no longer closes, a defect in the water supply, the door safety device may be faulty, the solenoid valve is damaged, the heating element is faulty, the motor no longer works, the drum belt is out of alignment or out of order, the drum pulley is loose, the electronic board is faulty. It is therefore necessary to check each of these elements to understand why the washing machine does not run the selected program. If the malfunction comes from the pulleys, they should be changed. If the problem is with the belt, which may be worn out, get a new belt, making sure you choose the right model. Attach the new belt between the two pulleys of the motor and the drum and make sure to tighten it properly so that it does not slip off the shaft when using the wash programs.
