The washing machine starts normally but the spinning does not occur. Check the belt if you hear a motor noise and the drum does not turn. The belt wears and stretches over time. It should be changed when you notice that the washing machine is no longer working properly. If the drum rotation is noisy and sounds like it's struggling, there may be a problem with the bearings. You should check for rust on the rotation shaft, towards the resistance. Also check the drum by turning it manually from right to left to see if the drum is rubbing or if there is any resistance. Change the bearings and also check the star pin for wear. To change the bearings on this machine, first remove the work surface and then the back cover. Remove the belt and disconnect the resistance cables. Identify the cables for later reconnection. Remove the sensor from the adjustable thermostat if it has one. This is a metal part. This part is pressure-mounted inside a rubber gasket located on the back cover of the tank. Remove the resistor by loosening the inner nut with a 10 millimeter tube. Then remove the pulley and the 21 8-millimeter hex head screws from the rear tank cover. On some models, it is necessary to remove the upper counterweight, remove all screws.
