The spin cycle does not occur and a loud noise is produced when using the washing machine. This type of malfunction is usually due to the condition of the belt. It may be broken, slipped from the rotation axis or simply worn out, which does not allow proper driving of the drum. Remove the part at the back of the washing machine. If the belt is still in place, remove it and check its condition. The motor runs but jams when turned clockwise. When opening the drain manually, it is not possible to turn the shaft manually. Remove the belt and check if the motor is running or not. If the motor is running, it is a problem with the box that is engaged. Remove the pulley, take out the box and manually tighten the brake. The pulley should rotate correctly to the right, as should the motor. It should turn to accommodate the four screw holes on the inside. The plastic ring that is bolted to the top of the drum is loose and blocks the proper operation of the washing machine. If, after doing all the checks, it turns out that the problem is with the belt, get a new piece and put it in place by sliding it over the rotation axis to connect the two pulleys.
