You would like to know if the belt of yoru washing machine is loose. When the washing machine is running, you feel like the belt is slipping and needs to be tightened. To adjust the belt, you can use your thumb and index finger. Place the belt between the two pulleys and bring the inner faces of the belt closer together in the free area between the two pulleys. Reduce the original outer distance of the belt (in the resting position) by approximately an inch or about 2.5 centimeters.
