Indeed, the electric motor is blocked and not turning. Open the back of the machine and remove the belt. You will notice that the drum spins freely, but th emotor remains blocked. Then connect the machine to the power outlet and test how the motor runs without the belt. If everything goes well, the motor will start with a brief buzzing sound and continue to run perfectly, without any strange noises. Then put the belt back in place and the washing machine will be operational again, performing all cycles normally. However, be careful not to leave the washing machine stopped for more than two or three days.
