To test the engine of yoru washing machine, you must proceed as follows: - Check the capacitor cables. Measure the current with an ammeter for the yellow wire (between 5 A and 1.2 A) and the red wire (between 5 A and 1.2 A). - Test the motor consumption with and without the belt. If the motor heats up and stops working in both cases, it may indicate a problem. - Put the washing machine in rinse mode. If the motor continues to run without stopping and performs the spin cycle correctly, it may indicate a good motor operation. - To test if the motor has faulty windings, observe if the motor heats up and stops after 4 or 5 minutes of operation. - Check the solenoid valve and water filling. When the tank is almost filled to 3/4, you should hear a click from the pressure switch. If the water continues to fill for about 50 additional seconds, it may indicate a problem. This can cause a loss of voltage at the pin from the plate to the motor.
